A note from the editor

Diva Tú! brings you a special tribute to the Mexican historical celebrations that takes place in 2010. In particular, this year we commemorate the centennial of the Mexican revolution and the bicentennial of the independence that developed just south of the border. Diva Tú! will reveal how the fashion has evolved in two hundred years and why.
Our Fashion Editor Carolina Davalos has put together for you, our precious readers, part of an exclusive and original collection from designer extraordinaire Adán Terriquez along with the collaboration of our creative team of more than 50 professionals.  We used a serene and peaceful atmosphere  to photograph our fashion edition; Dream Weaver Ranch in Somis, California and Olivas Adobe Park in Ventura they were the perfect settings.  Contributing to the winter issue are: make-up artist Leslie Rodriguez, photographer Marie Gregorio-Oviedo and Ivan Montero, among others.
In this edition, Diva Tú! we feature unique and inspirational stories such as Aurora Lopez in the field of education. Life’s hardships did not stop her from getting a Masters degree at age 49.
We’ll tell you about a hair stylist with humble beginnings who believed in his heart that being the best can be achieved. Now celebrity clients come to his door to be transformed.
Growing orchids is a science and an art form. Mr. Amado Vazquez techniques are known world wide. You will truly appreciate him!
We also talk about four talented ladies who are smart and entertaining and who have their very own radio show here in Southern California.
We have an exclusive interview with Martín Llorens from the nationally televised show “Despíerta América”. He has a new book out in which he will helps enhance the beauty of any Diva Tu! reader.
I personally would like to extend my warm greetings and gratitude to all the people who made this winter issue of Diva Tú! a reality, specially our very talented Graphic Designer and Photographer, Roberto Ramirez who is a gifted genius in his craft.
